Hello. I’m Rebecca.

Portrait of a woman with long blonde hair, wearing a sleeveless navy blue top, against a plain light gray background.

I’m a marketing and communications executive and entrepreneur with 18+ years of experience helping companies seize their potential through brand strategy, compelling storytelling, and marketing that’s not only creative—but measurable.

My career spans from 2003 to 2025, a time of seismic change in the marketing world. I started when marketing was still largely research- and advertising-driven, and websites were just becoming a business necessity rather than a nice-to-have—remember Myspace and the all-black websites that felt cutting-edge at the time?

Since then, I’ve witnessed (and helped lead) the shift from static brochures to dynamic digital strategies, from SEO and email marketing to the rise of social media, content marketing, and the influencer economy. I’ve led teams through the evolution from outbound to inbound, from vanity metrics to ROI-focused campaigns, and from siloed efforts to integrated, customer-first engagement.

What I’ve always loved most is building marketing functions from the ground up. I gravitate toward roles where I have the autonomy to define and structure marketing priorities in alignment with company and sales goals. That passion has led me to build programs in industries like manufacturing and B2B, where digital marketing was slow to be adopted and marketing often had to prove its value. I didn’t step into massive, well-resourced departments—instead, I often walked into blank slates, biting off more than I could chew and learning fast. That meant working within legacy systems, gaining trust across functions, and using creativity, resourcefulness, and data to modernize how brands connect with their audiences.

Today, I’m energized by the possibilities of marketing in the AI era—where agility, personalization, and purpose matter more than ever. I’m actively exploring new AI tools and platforms so I can continue to innovate and bring fresh thinking to my next role. I’ve always straddled both strategy and execution: I can see the big picture, while rolling up my sleeves to write, build, test, and optimize. I’ve had hands-on experience across nearly every facet of marketing, which allows me to lead, mentor, and grow teams with empathy.

Most recently, I founded and scaled a luxury vacation rental business from the ground up, growing it into a $10M portfolio in just three years. It was one of the most rewarding experiences of my career—a completely new field, a steep learning curve, and proof that I can adapt, build, and thrive in fast-changing environments. Whether it's a global enterprise, a traditional industry, or an entrepreneurial venture, I bring the same mindset: give everything I've got, stay curious, and deliver work that moves the needle.

And last but not least, I wouldn’t be telling you the whole story without mentioning my family. We’re an international crew—my husband is French, our home is bilingual, and I’ve studied and worked across multiple countries and continents. We bring a love of all things European with us to Charleston, a town close to all our hearts. I’m a wife and a proud mom of two girls—who I hope to inspire through my work ethic, resilience, and passion, so they can grow into the next generation of movers and shakers in this world.
